The door to Basil's Keep is open. Come in, but tread softly.
Welcome to the Keep of Basil, the Bald--a refuge for the weary when darkness descends and the black clouds obscure the stars and the moon, and when monsters come to stalk the night.Yesterday is but a dim memory. Tomorrow may never come. But today is the time for the brave, the strong, the resourceful and the adventuresome to join together in a consortium of imagination and creativity. A time to fight back against the mundane and the ordinary. Join us, the relatively grown-up adventurers of Consortium III.This page is dedicated to a small but hardy band of those who march to the beat of a different drummer, the music makers and the weavers of dreams . . . the players of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons in the Houston, TX (USA) area.

About Consortium III
Consortium III is a group of Houston AD&D players who have been adventuring together for the last five or six years (some for as long as ten). PCs have changed from time to time, but the current group of adventureres are at the link below, "The Motley Crew". Basil, the Bald, Houston's oldest DM, is the Dungeon Master, and was DM for several RPGA sponsored CONs in Houston. Style of play: AD&D 2nd edition rules with some latitude depending on the DM's mood. XP weighted in favor of clever solutions to problems, creative and consistent role-playing and an active imagination. Not a hack and slash champaign. Page created: August 1998--Updated: May 29, 1999
